Pest World 2024, Denver, October, 2024

First time visiting Denver so I decided to walk the town. From Union Station I went up Market street past Coors Field into the RINO District to check out the murals. Then it was down Larimer Street to Larimer Square and across 14th Street past the Denver Performing Arts Complex and Big Blue Bear peeking into the Colorado Convention Center. Went past the US Mint, the City and County Building and through the Civic Center Park. From there I climbed the Mile-High Steps of the State Capitol Building before making my pilgrimage to the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. Doubling back along Colfax and dodging the homeless stoners, I walked up the 16th Street Mall past the D&F Tower and back to Union Station in order to get the A-Line Train back to the Gaylord Rockies Resort in time for the opening of the Pest World Exhibits.

Always happy for the opportunity to share time with colleagues at the Hall Of Fame Dinner, and the Pi Chi Omega, Nisus, Liphatech and UPFDA Receptions.
I’m also grateful to the team at BWI for an extraordinary dinner at the 801 Chop House and had a fun breakfast with our friends from BASF at the Fortunate Prospector. I also got to meet the charming Annie Caden from Heritage for lunch at the Mountain Pass Sports Bar, and an unforgettable dinner at the Buckhorn Exchange where I tried elk, bison and Rocky Mountain Oysters for the first time – I liked it! I also had a chance to catch up over lunch at the Blue Moon DinerĀ  with my dear friend Terri Mason and her husband Eric who live in nearby Highlands Ranch.
